Chadd grew up in Westminster CO, a suburb of Denver. He developed a love of the wilderness at a young age as he spent a lot of time with his family camping, hiking, fishing and exploring our great outdoors. Though he lived in the city, his heart was in the wild!

Blair grew up on a parcel of land seven miles outside the little town of Silt, CO, about a four hour drive from Denver. Throughout her childhood, her backyard was the wilderness and she spent most of her days hiking around the property,
